K D Lang Canadian born K D Lang is a successful Country Western singer. She started off her music career by singing at various venues in her homeland. In 1986 she signed a recording contract and has never looked back since. Her cross over to the commercial market didnt go down popular amongst the Country Western fans and in 1992 she announced she was a Lesbian which alienated her fans even further. It was rumoured she only announced this to gain rapport among the Gay and Lesbian community. This prooved to be a success and ever since other celebrities have come out and admitted their sexuality like Ellen DeGeneres.
