Under current Jamaican law, Homosexuality is illegal. The reason being is Homophobia is high in the country. In 2004, Amnesty International published a report criticising Jamaicas homophobia and the same time a gay activist was murdered. Gay tourists should stay away from this destination but Gay people who have visited Jamaica said they had no problems.
